100+ characters. 50+ scenes. A kaleidoscope of stories – fragmented, intimate, true.
Love and Information is an astute observation of contemporary society. Across a super-charged series of vignettes, the play depicts the difficulty of forming connections in a society overloaded with information.
This production marks TFTV’s first theatrical presentation since the loss of three beloved University of Arizona students – TFTV senior Josiah Santos, who was majoring in Theatre, and Sophia Troetel and Katya Castillo Mendoza. The run of Love and Information is dedicated to their memory.
In memory of Josiah Santos – and at the kind suggestion of his mother Hope – the School of Theatre, Film & Television is collecting non-perishable food items for the Campus Pantry. Please feel free to bring items such as cereal boxes, canned food, peanut butter, and baking mix. Collection bins will be located in the lobby of the Tornabene Theatre during all performances of Love and Information.
