The Climate Project

September 25 – September 28, 2025 • Tornabene Theatre
TFTV Workshop Productions

ABOUT THE SHOW

Inspired by Requiem for a Reef (2024), this collaborative physical theatre piece utilizes the “theatre of metamorphosis” approach to examine the critical issue of climate change in the Sonoran Desert. The production explores the changing metabolic footprint of life, from microbes to humans, in the face of environmental shifts.

Developed by undergraduate students with School of Theatre, Film & Television faculty member Rick Wamer.

This production is free to attend.

Funding is provided by the Technology Research Initiative Fund/Water, Environmental, and Energy Solutions Initiative through the Arts Research and Resilience program and College of Fine Arts Small Grants.

Support also came from an original commission from the Mannakin Theatre & Dance company, San Francisco, Small Grants College of Fine Arts, and School of Theatre, Film & Television.
