This American Musical has an addictive score featuring country, rock, gospel and pop music, and its story was inspired by the true events of the acclaimed 1997 documentary of the same name by S.R. Bindler. Under a sizzling sun for days, armed with nothing but hope, determination and humor, 10 Texans fight to keep at least one hand on a brand new truck in order to win it. For these contestants of calamity, a new lease on life is so close that each can almost touch it, but in this hard-fought, hilarious contest, only one winner can drive away with the American Dream.
