UA School of Theatre, Film & Television’s Arizona Repertory Theatre Holds Open Casting Call for Boys Ages 8-12

for Fall Productions FRANKENSTEIN and THE FULL MONTY

Tucson, AZ – Arizona Repertory Theatre, the theatrical training company at the University of Arizona’s School of Theatre, Film & Television, is holding an open casting call for male child actors on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, from 4pm-6pm in room #114 in the Drama Building on the UA campus.

For Frankenstein by Victor Gialanella, directed by Brent Gibbs, the role of William is being sought. The character is between 8-11 years old. Rehearsals for Frankenstein will be from September 8 – October 21, 2014. Performances will run from October 22 – November 9, 2014.

For The Full Monty – music and lyrics by David Yazbek, book by Terrence McNally, directed by Danny Gurwin, the role of Nathan, who is between ages 10-12 years old, is being sought. There is no singing required for this role, though this is a musical. Rehearsals for The Full Monty will be from September 22 – November 11, 2014. Performances will run from November 12 – December 7, 2014.

Parents will be able to ask more questions at the time of the audition.
